Cremation

Cremation in the Middle East is a relatively new concept, but we have facilitated hundreds of cremation cases throughout the Middle East.

At the moment in the UAE we only offer this service in the Emirates of Dubai, Sharjah and Al Ain and it is a requirement that the deceased holds a visa (visit or residence) from the relevant Emirate.

MEA, does not ‘own’ the crematoriums, we work with them to offer a solution for our clients. We have built close relationships with them throughout the years. The equipment they use is of international standards and the grounds are consistently well maintained and clean.

Our service includes:

  • Personal consultation with the family/company by an experienced MEA representative

  • Securing of all documentation and attestations required locally (this includes the police, Embassy, Municipality, Ministry of Health and Foreign Affairs)

  • Transportation to the crematorium and overseeing the cremation

  • Collecting of the ashes and preparationfor transportation if required

  • Liaising with priests or celebrants if required

The complete process takes three to four working days, on average, and we ensure that the client is well informed throughout the process with daily email updates and a dedicated WhatsApp group for any information thatmight be urgently required.

We also ensure that all documentation is securely stored, as both hard and soft copies, for possible future requirements.

In brief, Middle East Assistance will manage the entire process with dignity and respect in an extremely professional manner.
